Squee

I finally got bit torrent working again! That means more anime for meeeee. :D I think the problem was I was trying to use IE to download the latest Azureus client. It would always mess up and never download correctly. So tonight I tried it with Firefox and it was downloaded in a flash. So I root around in some of my old torrent haunts like Lunar and Anime-Keep and bam! Downloading a whole crapload of new anime for me to watch. Huzzah.

Just found out today that JKR finished up Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. All I can say is, it's about bloody feckin' time. Her havin' all these babies is pissing me off because it's interfering with her Harry Potter writing time. I have a right mind to tell JKR's husband to stop shagging her for the duration of the Harry Potter series. He can shag her all he wants after she's done, but for the love of literature, let her finish the goshdarn series first!

Gwee, no sleep

Well, I inadvertantly pulled an all-nighter. :/ Didn't mean to, it just happened that way. Probably not a good thing to do, considering I'm looking into getting a regular job over the break. Oh well, it's Christmas week, I guess I can be lazy just this one time. The temp agency is supposed to call me back today, so I hope that goes well. Before I fall asleep from tiredness, that is. Maybe they lined up some nice data entry job for me. That would be pretty sweet, though not as sweet as my Verizon gig. Now, there were some good times.

Went to my sister's winter concert last night. Got to revisit the old high school, saw some old friends and acquaintances. Really put my life in perspective, seeing everyone there from the past and watching as the younger generation is just hitting their stride in high school. Gave me a sense of urgency, as it were. Also made me feel kinda old. :x

Wee, 'nother blog thing to update.

So yeah, LJ really isn't all that active for me anymore, so time to try something new. Don't know if this one will really work out either, but hey. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Christmas is almost here, and I still haven't gotten all my shopping done. :x Hopefully I can get it all finished by Saturday. If not, well then too bad. A job to help me pay for the damn presents would be nice.
